​In an automobile engine, there is a mechanical device that enables the engine to operate in a stationary position, called a clutch. This component engages and disengages the power transmission especially from the drive shaft to the driven shaft. In other words, the Japanese Truck Clutch connects and disconnects two rotating shafts (drive shaft or transmission shaft).

​The output shaft of the clutch is the input shaft of the transmission.
